Job Description
Leads the development and management of a strategic marketing plan for the newly established GoDaddy Australia operations. Responsible for building and driving web marketing, customer acquisition programs, optimising customer lifecycle, CPA and overall front of site management. Drive improvements in site conversion in conjunction with FOS and channel teams. Manages day-to-day interactions with creative agency and internal stakeholders. Provides guidance to ensure integrated marketing campaigns are seamlessly executed and resonate locally. Conducts an ongoing analysis of customer and competitors behaviours leveraging the many quantitative assets within the company and defines relevant research efforts. Develops digital marketing and branding plans to optimise efficiency of customer acquisition efforts through search, affiliates programs, display advertising, retargeting, keyword optimisation and SEO initiatives.

Develops local partnerships to trial new approaches to products and markets. Coordinates an outsourced evangelizer effort to connect with web pros throughout ANZ and drive GoDaddy’s presence within this influential segment.

This position reports into the Country Manager ANZ and is based in Sydney, Australia.

Develop a Holistic Strategy Around Digital Marketing And Branding To Optimize Efficiency Of ANZ Customer Acquisition Efforts, Including

Web marketing, Customer Acquisition tactics thru SEM, Affiliates, Retargeting and a solid Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy;
Manage campaigns across multiple online channels including: Search, Display, and Social;
Build strong partnerships with internal teams (Marketing, Front Of Site, Customer Care Centre, BI, Pricing, email) to ensure a superior user experience;
Review site metrics and customer feedback to recommend strategies to maximize online effectiveness and customer satisfaction;
Develop integrated marketing plan to turn visitors into customers and customers into repeat shoppers while maximizing average shopping cart size;
Work hand-in-hand with our marketing, PR, content, product, localization, and design teams to implement recommendations on SEO and CRM strategy.

Work Collaboratively With Internal Stakeholders To Develop Marketing Programs That Leverage Core Strengths To Build Customer Brands, Enhance Customer Relationships, And Increase Revenues. More Specifically
Partner with the Customer Care Centre (C3) organization to align marketing initiatives and sales efforts across the region optimizing for CPA, AOS, and ARPU;
Capture customer feedback and insights to fine tune marketing initiatives;
Manage internal promotions to improve cross-pollination among our network of brands, products, and service offerings;
Create a customer analytics program to better understand and serve our members. Translate insights (client and consumer) into strong marketing strategies and execution;
Establish loyalty programs to identify, serve and retain our best customers.
Create and manage the measurement of customer acquisition campaigns (Google Analytics, KissMetrics) to improve customer conversion and retention. Responsible for any customer metrics such as Visits, Churn, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and Renewal Rates;
Drive the identification of trends and insights from customer experience surveys and marketing analytics and translate the learning into action and change agendas;
Leverage competitive intelligence and marketplace trends to provide leadership on how GoDaddy should innovate and evolve through new initiatives and CRM campaigns.

Strategic ownership of brand marketing and promotional plans including ATL & BTL advertising.
Manage tendering process for external agencies, as needed.
Ensure the brand image is consistent across all stages of the customer journey and upheld across all mediums
Establish and reinvigorate the marketing calendar to reach new customers and re-engage with existing customer base
Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing & communications program and its activities, monitor progress, measure and evaluate performance

Education/Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field required
Work related experience
Demonstrated expertise in delivering digital marketing campaigns
Experience in running multi million dollar SEM campaigns across multiple markets, Search Engine Optimization, Affiliation and Retargeting
Number driven mentality and familiarity with website optimization software
Sophisticated understanding of customer marketing in the context of online transactional websites and mobile apps.
Five (5) plus years experience in brand marketing, product development, viral marketing, search marketing, retargeting, affiliation, social media and mobile marketing.
Thorough understanding of online and offline touch points throughout the customer lifecycle.
Prior experience at a major e-commerce site is highly desirable.
Deep understanding the Australia/NZ audience and digital landscape
Proven experience managing digital and creative agencies
