As part of Vodafone’s internal transformation, we have an exciting opportunity for an OSS architect to join our OSS Engineering team. This team is responsible for Network support systems & tools across Assurance & Fulfilment functions.
The OSS Architect will be accountable for the overall architecture of Vodafone ITSM service management platform built on the BMC suite. The key responsibility will include delivering Operations transformation initiatives for E2E Service management that is endorsed by all key stakeholders. This role will also contribute to the enhancement of Network asset management across multiple stakeholders.
These objectives will be achieved through successful implementation of a federated Telco CMDB architecture & design based on BMC’s Remedy suite. This will enable efficiencies in the Networks service and inventory management processes at Vodafone. In addition the delivery of BMC Service level management module architecture & design aligned with the best practice processes will enable monitoring and achieving Network vendor SLAs.
To be the successful candidate will be have proven experience in delivery roles across a number of major IT Service Management deployments with a strong focus on process and tool alignment. You will have proven experience in BMC suite competencies - Atrium CMDB, ITSM versions 8.1 and 7, applications (IM, CM, PM, RM, SLM, SRM, AM), BPPM, ADDM, Data modelling & Service modelling. You must have excellent analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and provide sound technical solutions to address the business problem being articulated. You must have exceptional written, oral and presentation skills for communicating and managing executive stakeholders with enterprise communication as required.
This role requires leadership qualities with a collaborative engagement style to lead cross-functional initiatives with significant stakeholders. Ability to adapt quickly, self-starts, works effectively with multiple groups, and follows issues through to resolution are essential along with a can-do attitude.
