A unique and challenging opportunity is available for a Corporate Affairs Manager to join our team. You will be a key contributor within an innovative, fast-paced team to manage the reputation of Roche and its brands through the ongoing identification of opportunities and threats, managing key external stakeholders, providing communications advice, developing materials, and building internal communications capabilities.

You will be responsible for product/disease area public relations, proactive and reactive issues management, and external stakeholder engagement. You will develop and execute communications strategies that align with - and support - key strategic business focuses. Drawing on your public relations/corporate communications experience within the pharmaceutical arena, you’re looking for a role in which you have the opportunity to work across therapeutic areas with different internal teams and external stakeholders.

You will demonstrate excellent strategic insight, highly-developed media management skills, experience in management of external agencies, experience in third-party relations (e.g. health consumer organisations), and a deep understanding and knowledge of the Australian pharmaceutical environment.

For this role, it is a prerequisite that you have solid experience in stakeholder engagement, media relations, issues management, corporate communications and internal communications within the pharmaceutical sector (preferably in-house).

You will have an enquiring mind, coupled with superior communication skills, and an independent and proactive approach. Tertiary qualifications in communications/public relations and/or business (marketing or commerce) are highly regarded. Demonstrated superior English skills (written and verbal) are required.
